In this blog post I have narrated an astounding story of four brothers those were extremely intelligent and wise. Hearing about their genius in this story, you will blow your mind.
Let's Start the Story
"A strange story of the intelligence and
wisdom of four brothers”
Nazar
is one of the famous elders of Banu Ismail. Nazar's father's name was Ma’ad bin
Adnan. The genealogy of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) is traced back to him in the nineteenth century. Nazar is as if His (S.A.W)
ancestors are glorified.
After
the death of his father Ma'ad, Nazar got the leadership of
It is
said that when the time of Nazar bin Ma'ad's death approached, he divided his
wealth among his four sons and at the same time bequeathed that if any dispute
arose in this matter, my friend Afa'a Get a decision from the king of Najran.
Therefore,
after the death of their father, a dispute arose between the four brother in
the division of property and all four of them went to get a decision from the
king of Afa'a.
These
four were so intelligent that during the journey one of the brothers saw a
piece of land from where some animal had grazed grass. Seeing this, he said:
“The
camel that has grazed this grass is blind in one eye.”
The
second brother said:
“That
camel is also lame.”
The
third brother said:
“He
is also spoiled.”
The
fourth said:
“His
tail is also cut off.”
They
had only traveled a short distance when they found a man who had lost his
riding camel. He was frantically searching for his camel. That person asked
these four brothers about his camel, have you seen my camel?
A
brother said:
“Is
your camel one-eyed?”
He
said:
“Of
course, that camel has one eye.”
The
second brother said:
“Is
that camel lame too?”
That
person also admitted it.
The
third brother said:
“Is
your camel's tail cut off?”
He
nodded his head in the affirmative.
The
fourth brother said:
“Is
that camel bitten?”
That person also confirmed it.
Then
the man said to them:
“All
these attributes belong to my camel. Now tell me where is it?
“They
replied that we have not even seen your camel.”
But
he did not believe what they said and he told them that my camel is with you. Give
me back.
Those
brothers finally tried to convince him by swearing that we have not even seen
your camel.
He
said:
“How
can I trust your oath when you have described all the symptoms of my camel? I
will now complain to the king that these people have hidden my camel somewhere.”
So
that person also walked with these four brothers. When the five of them reached
the king of Najran, Afa'a Jurhami, the old man called out and said to the king:
“These
guests of yours have stolen my camel. Their argument is that they have
explained all the signs of that camel to me. But the surprise is that they even
deny that we have not even seen that camel.”
Afa'a
asked these four brothers that when you have not even seen that camel, how you
described all its symptoms.
A
brother said:
“I
noticed that the grass was cut from one side and the grass from the other side
was not cut. So I understood that that camel is definitely blind in one eye.
The
second brother said:
“When
I saw his footprints, not one footprint was complete. I understood that camel
is lame from this foot.”
The
third said:
“I
saw that his eyes were gathered together in one place. I thought that if that
camel had a tail, then by shaking its tail, the tusks would be scattered. This
proves that the tail of that camel has been cut off.”
The
fourth brother said:
“I
saw that a part of the land where the grass is very thick, something special
was eaten from there. Then grass was eaten from another place, which is worse
than the first place, and there is less grass, so I understood that the camel
was bitten. Otherwise he would eat grass from the same place.”
When Afa'a
heard this statement of these brothers, he was greatly impressed by their
intelligence and told the old man that they have nothing to do with your camel.
Go and find him somewhere else.
Then
asked them:
“Who
are you and how did you come?”
They
said:
“Our
father was a friend of your father. He had made a will when he died. Therefore,
we have come to make a decision by obeying your order. Your father was a very
good man. Once in our childhood we came to meet him with our father.”
The
king said:
“You
yourself are so smart and intelligent, how can I judge you?”
However,
the king arranged for their accommodation and food and put one of his slaves in
their service. When they finished eating and drinking, one of the brothers said:
“Until
today, I have not seen such a good wine. I wish! It would not have been made
from grapes planted on a grave.”
The
other said;
“The
meat was cooked very well. I wish this goat was not fed with the milk of the
dog, whose meat it is.”
The
third said:
“The
bread was very well baked, but I wish the dough was not kneaded by a menstruator.”
The
fourth brother said:
“The
king has done great service. I wish he was his father's son, not forbidden.”
The
king's servant listened carefully to all this conversation and was very
surprised. So he went and told the king that they had such a conversation.
The
king immediately called the manager of the bar and asked how the wine that you
had served to these guests today was obtained.
The
moderator replied:
“It
is made from the vine that is planted on your father's grave. We did not have a
finer wine at that time.”
Then
the king inquired from the shepherd about the goat, and he confessed that the
goat's mother had died as soon as it was born. I forced that goat to feed the
dog's milk for a few days. At that time only one goat was healthy and fat in
the whole herd, which was slaughtered for these guests.”
After
that, the king went to the palace and inquired of the maidservant who kneaded
the dough, and he found out that she was indeed menstruating in those days.
Then
King Afa'a reached his mother with a sword and asked her:
“Tell
the truth, who is my father?”
So
she was forced to tell and said:
“Your
father was not expected to have any children. I was more concerned about who
would inherit the government after him. Therefore, I forced to give power over
myself to a person who was our guest one day. The heir of this kingdom was born
from that person.”
After
all this research, the king was very surprised at the intelligence of these
four brothers. He came out of the sanctum and asked them:
“For
God's sake, tell me what this secret is? How did you know these things?”
A
brother said:
You
know that when wine is drunk, it brings joy and sorrow disappears. But I found
the effect of that wine to be contrary to it. So I guessed that this wine must
have been made by the cemetery.”
Another
said:
“The
meat of sheep, goat and other animals has the characteristic that their meat is
at the bottom and fat is at the top. Except for dog meat, this has fat on the
bottom and meat on top. The meat we ate had some fat underneath it. Thus, I
guessed that the meat is definitely goat's, but it may be that the goat drank
the dog's milk.”
The
third brother said:
“The
characteristic of bread is that if it is broken with fingers, it becomes fine
crumbs except for the kneaded flour of menstruation. Since this bread was a bit
crusty, I guessed that this dough was kneaded by a menstruating woman.”
Now
the king asked the fourth brother that how did you know that the king is a
bastard?
He
replied something like this:
“Once
when I was a child, I was a guest of your father along with my father. He ate
the food while sitting with us. From this I inferred that his habits are different
from his father, so you cannot be the son of that king.”
Shah-e
Najran was very surprised to hear these words of his and immediately folded his
hands and started asking them:
I am
not in a position to decide for you. You should make this decision yourself or
let someone else do it.
Then
he sent them away respectfully.
