A strong punch from Maulvi and the judge's decision│an interesting story
In this blog post I have narrated a strange and instructive Islamic story of a Maulvi Sahib and such a manly person who was asking him strange questions and bothering him.
Let's Start the Story.
"A strong punch from Maulvi and the judge's decision│an interesting story”
It is said that
a man went to a Cleric (Maulvi Sahib) and started asking him questions. His
first question was:
“Tell me, does
God exist?
Maulvi replied:
“Absolutely,
He is present everywhere.”
The man said:
“Then
why do we not see? If he exists, show me.”
Maulvi Sahib
explained to her that God does not look like a high caste but is recognized by
His abilities.
But the man did
not listen to Maulvi Sahib and kept saying that if God Almighty exists, then
show me.
Then the man
asked another question:
“Maulvi
sir, what is Satan made of?
Maulvi replied:
“Satan
is made of fire.”
The man said:
“On
the Day of Resurrection, will Satan also be cast into hell and he will also be
punished?”
Maulvi Sahib
said:
“Absolutely,
Satan will also go to hell and will be punished.”
Now that
person smiled and said:
“Satan
is made of fire and hell is also full of fire. Well, if the fire is put into
the fire, then what is the punishment?”
Maulvi Sahib
explained to him:
“Allah
Almighty has the power to punish Satan with the fire of hell. He is capable of everything;
He can do whatever He wants.”
But this
person's equal insistence was that how can punishment be caused by putting fire
in fire.
Then the man
asked the third question about destiny:
“Has
Allah written everything that will happen in advance?”
Maulvi
replied:
“Of
course, every thing is already written.”
The man said:
“When
Allah Ta'ala has already written and decided everything, then why does He
punish us? Then what is wrong with us?”
Maulvi Sahib
explained to him very earnestly:
“Allah
Ta'ala has not only forced us, but has also given us the option to do good and
bad deeds. His knowledge is so comprehensive that before everything happens He
knows what will happen and what will not happen. Therefore, God Almighty has
written everything in advance. Moreover, your objecting to predestination in
this way is like objecting to the knowledge of Allah Almighty.”
But that man
kept on saying that when everything has been pre-ordained in divine destiny,
then why should we be punished?
Maulvi Sahib
got angry at that person's obstinacy that this person is so bold that he is
also objecting to the destiny of God Almighty. Therefore, in this state of
anger, Maulvi Sahib gave him a strong punch.
Maulvi Sahib's
health was also very good, his anger was intense and his punch hit the right
target. As if the memory of the punch of Moses (peace be upon him) was revived.
After being
punched, the person's screams came out and he started moaning in pain. Maulvi
Sahib was about to punch him again when he ran for his life and went straight
to the Judge (Qazi Sahib)'s court.
He went there
and told Qazi Sahib:
“Watch,
today's clerics are like this, if we asks for a problem, they beat and insult
us. I asked (so and so) Maulvi about the problem. He could not satisfy me
because of his lack of knowledge, so he started beating me. Thankfully, I
escaped with my life; otherwise he would have killed me.”
Qazi Sahib was
very surprised and called Maulvi Sahib and questioned him about it.
Maulvi Sahib
said:
“I
have answered this person's questions.”
The Qazi was
very surprised to hear this and said:
“Maulvi
sir, this is a strange way of answering.”
Maulvi Sahib
said:
Such a third, then
explaining further, he said:
“The
first question asked by this person was that if God exists, show him. Now this
person is moaning in pain, shedding tears and repeatedly saying that I am in
severe pain. If he shows me his pain, I will show him to God.”
The man said:
“Maulvi
Sahib, pain cannot be shown. It is revealed by signs and symptoms. Look, the
place has turned red. I am crying because of this pain etc”
Maulvi Sahib
said:
“Just
as pain cannot be seen, but its presence is known through signs and symptoms,
in the same way Allah cannot be seen. His presence is known by His powers.”
Then Maulvi
Sahib said:
“His second
question was that Satan is also made of fire and Hell is also made of fire, so
what is the punishment for putting fire in fire?
Judge! See,
this person is also made of clay and my fist is also made of clay. Then how
does it hurt to put the soil on the soil?”
In the Qazi's
court, Maulvi continued his speech and said:
“The
third question of this mortal person was that when everything has been written
in God’s destiny, then why He punishes us and what is wrong with us?
The answer is
that it was written in the destiny of God Almighty that the cleric would punch
this person, so why did he come to you to complain. Judge! When this whole
story was already written in fate, what is my fault in this?”
When Qazi Sahib
heard these words of Maulvi Sahib, he smiled and dismissed this case. That
person also left there, amazed at Maulvi Sahib's intelligence and the rational
arguments presented by him.
