A house deal in paradise│A Mind Blowing Story by A Learning Point
In this blog post I
have narrated a real Islamic story. This is the story of a rich young man, who
made an unseen deal worth millions of Dirham on the advice of a person. And
then he had the good fortune that he made an incalculable profit in this deal
Let's Start the Story
"A house deal in paradise│A Mind Blowing Story”
Once
Hazrat Malik Bin Dinar (R.A) was passing by a road. He saw in front that a
grand palace was being built and a young man was giving instructions to the
builders.
Hazrat
Malik thought how handsome and beautiful this young man is, but how he is
trapped in the world. All his attention is towards the world itself. Why should
I not invite him to heaven?
Hazrat
Malik immediately took his companion and went to him. He greeted him He
recognized Hazrat Malik. He stood up and asked the reason for coming.
Hazrat
Malik said:
“How
much rupees have you decided to invest in this house?”
That
young man said:
“I
will invest about one million dirham.”
Hazrat
Malik said:
“If
you give me this one million dirham, I will take charge of a house in heaven
for you. Which will be millions time better than this house. Servants and maidservants
will all be present in it. Its soil will be made of saffron, Mortar will be of
musk. Bricks will be of ruby and emerald. That house will never fall and will
never be old. It was not built by architects and masons, but by the command of
Allah Almighty.
After
hearing all this, the young man thought about what to do. Then he said:
“You
give me a chance to think tonight. If you come tomorrow, I will be able to
answer it.”
The
next day Hazrat Malik visited that young man and he was waiting for him. He was
very happy to see Hazrat Malik.
Hazrat
Malik asked him:
“What
are your thoughts on yesterday's conversation?”
He
asked for his consolation:
“Will
you fulfill the promise you made to me?”
Hazrat
Malik said:
“God
willing, I will definitely fulfill it. I do not despair of my Allah.”
That
young man got up and brought the sacks of dirhams in front of Hazrat Malik.
Also put pen, medicine and paper. He wrote on this paper:
“In
the name of Allah, the Merciful
This
is a declaration that Malik bin Dinar has taken the responsibility from A son
of B that in return for this palace, Allah will grant him a better palace in
Then
the young man signed the paper and came away with the dirhams. Before it was
evening, Hazrat Malik gave all those dirhams in charity in the way of Allah.
It
was not even 40 days after this incident that one day when Hazrat Malik bin
Dinar finished his Morning Prayer; he saw a paper lying in the arch of the mosque.
When he got up, he saw that it was the same paper that Hazrat Malik had written
to that young man. On its back was written in luminous letters without ink;
“This
is the absolution of the responsibility of Malik bin Dinar from Allah Almighty.
The house that you took responsibility from that young man, we have given him
in full, nay, 70 times more.
Hazrat
Malik Bin Dinar was very surprised after reading this paper and went to that
young man's house. Hazrat Malik saw that women were crying there. On enquiry,
it was found that the young man had died yesterday.
Hazrat
Malik asked:
“Who
bathed him and who buried him?”
A man
went ahead and said that this young man had given me a paper before he died and
told me to put this paper on my chest while bathing and dressing me. I put it
that way.
Hazrat
Malik took out that paper from his pocket and showed it to the man and asked
him:
“Wasn't
that paper?”
The
man was surprised to see the paper and said:
“By
the One in whose possession is my soul, this is the same paper that I kept
inside the shroud of that young man.”
All
the people present there were greatly affected after hearing this incident and
became jealous of the good fortune of this young man. A young man who was there
immediately said:
“Hazrat
Sahib, You take two million from me. Write me a paper too.”
Hazrat
Malik said:
“Time
has passed. It was in the destiny of this young man, so Allah Almighty gave him
this blessing.
